Does the organisation need to do anything in return for your support?

No, but we would appreciate the organisation mentioning/tagging us in their socials, newsletters, website etc, and providing a link to our website sponsorship page so we can get even more people involved in our program.

And we’d love some photos showing what the money was used for that we can use in our own socials and communications to promote our support program and the organisations that have benefited.

What if the organisation operates outside of your designated area?

So long are they aren’t too far away, please still nominate them.

We’ll decide at the dealership whether we would be prepared to support them in favour of an organisation operating closer to us. It will really come down to the type and amount of community support they provide.

National Tree Day at Takari School

National Tree Day is Australia’s largest tree-planting and nature care event. Each year over 200,000 people take part in National Tree Day events at 3,000 sites organised by councils, schools, businesses, communities and Toyota Dealers across the country. Since Planet Ark launched National Tree Day in 1996, more than three million participants have planted 20 million native trees, shrubs and grasses.

Big Rock Toyota has partnered with Takari Primary School and provided funds for purchasing trees to plant in the school grounds over the last few years.

The students always have a great time getting their hands dirty, and Big Rock Toyota organise a lunchtime sausage sizzle for all the students and teachers.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Takari Primary School for being a part of National Tree Day.
